Sujata Day, known for shows like Insecure and Awkward Black Girl, is the writer, director, producer, and lead actress in her film, Definition Please. I talked to Sujata about making her first film, mental health stigmas, and how a brunch led to getting a cameo from Levar Burton. We also talked about being a part of Insecure since the Awkward Black Girl days and who she thought Issa should have ended up with.
