In Season 2, Episode 5 of Euphoria, titled “Stand Still Like the Hummingbird,” Rue is doing anything but standing still. Running around town to dodge her mother and rehab while looking for drugs, Rue was very active in her Chuck Taylor high-tops. While that might be uncomfortable in your average pair of Chucks, Rue is wearing the Chuck 70. These feature a more padded, cushion Ortholite insole for added comfort, a more durable canvas, and a rubber outsole for added traction. I have these and will say they are way more comfortable than you average Chucks. I will say, even while wearing these shoes, I don’t recommend doing anything that Rue was doing during that episode.
