After being teased at San Diego Invincible is back with Season 2. In the aftermath of the destruction in Chicago, Mark is trying to be a superhero while also being a college student, Debbie is coming to terms with the fact that her marriage to Nolan/Omni-Man wasn’t what she thought it was, and new villains are threatening the world as they know it.
Invincible stars Steven Yeun (Beef), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Seth Rogen (This is the End), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday, Girls), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Walton Goggins (Justified), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Melise (The Flash), Kevin Michael Richardson (The Simpsons), Grey Griffin (Avengers Assemble), Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) Sterling K Brown (This Is Us) and more.
I talked to EP and co-showrunner Simon Racioppa about Mark trying to balance superhero and human life and not fully committing to either, the introduction of Angstrom Levy and his multi-verse power, Debbie dealing with being called a “pet” and Sandra Oh’s amazing performance, and why Omni-Man is so insensitive.
