Raven Goodwin and Amber Riley are back as half-sisters Monica and Simone in Single Black Female 2: Simone’s Revenge. After thinking Simone was dead at the end of the first movie, Monica tries to start a new life in Seattle with her best friend Bebe. But she quickly learns she can’t run from her past and that Simone will do anything to get the revenge she thinks she deserves.

Single Black Female 2: Simone’s Revenge stars Amber Riley (Glee), Raven Goodwin (Being Mary Jane, Abbott Elementary), K. Michelle (Love and Hip Hop), Morgan Alexandria (Line Sisters, BMF), Christine Horn (Snowfall), and Kendrick Cross (Ambitions).

I talked to Raven Goodwin about revisiting the role of Monica, what advice she would give to the characters, working with K. Michelle, if she thinks she looks like Amber Riley, and if she’s open to a Single Black Female 3.
