After being saved from cancellation at Showtime, American Rust: Broken Justice is back for a season two on Prime Video. This season, Virgil is trying to build a better relationship with his son, Billy, who is dealing with PTSD and the divorce of his parents.

American Rust: Broken Justice stars Jeff Daniels as Chief Del Harris, Maura Tierney as Grace Poe, David Alvarez as Isaac English, Julia Mayorga as Lee English, Alex Neustaedter as Billy Poe, Mark Pellegrino as Virgil Poe and Rob Yang as Deputy Steve Park.

I talked to Alex Neustaedter, who plays Billy, and Mark Pellegrino, who plays Virgil, about Billy and Virgil’s relationship this season, how their characters are dealing with the divorce, and Billy dealing with PTSD.
