The Big Door Prize is going to the next level with season two, and so is the Morpho machine. After reconsidering her relationship with Dusty, Cass has a journey of self-exploration, which leads her into a friendship with Hana. Hana is learning to stay in one place after being a rolling stone most of her life.

“The Big Door Prize” features an ensemble cast led by Emmy Award winner Chris O’Dowd, Gabrielle Dennis, Ally Maki, Damon Gupton, Josh Segarra, Crystal Fox, Sammy Fourlas, and Djouliet Amara. Season two welcomes new and returning guest stars including Justine Lupe, Aaron Roman Weiner, Mary Holland, Patrick Kerr, Cocoa Brown, Carrie Barrett, Elizabeth Hunter, Jim Meskimen, Matt Dellapina, and Melissa Ponzio.

I talked to Gabrielle Dennis, who plays Cass, and Ally Maki, who plays Hana about why Cass is willing to risk it all to be a little bit happier, why Hana is staying in Deerfield, their characters’ newfound friendship, and what Cass and Hana can learn from each other.

Big Door Prize is now streaming and new episodes premiere Wednesdays on Apple TV +.
