VALÉ, the Colombian artist who just opened for The Driver Era on their North American tour, is gearing up for her debut EP. After releasing stand-alone singles like “oop” with Kat Dahlia and “without you” she just released the first single from her EP, “Chill Like That.” While the production is summery and sweet, the lyrics have a sharpness and edge to them.

I talked to VALÉ about being on tour with Ross and Rocky Lynch’s band The Driver Era and what she’s learned from them, writing in English and Spanish, the paradoxical lyrics on her latest single “Chill Like That” and she breaks down her tattoos.
