The Solar Opposites are back…and in their alien form! After turning into humans, Korvo, Terry, Jesse, Yumyulack, and The Pupa have escaped Earth and are on another planet. But you can’t keep these Earth-loving aliens away from Earth for too long. They get into more wacky adventures, including a honeymoon, dealing with Jesse’s ex-boyfriends, and having to feed The Pupa.

I talked to the co-creator and executive producer Mike McMahan and executive producer Josh Bycel about whether they considered having the Solar Opposites stay human and stay away from Earth longer, the what-if device, Terry’s T-shirts and pop culture references, the opening riffs, the backyard and Silvercops, and potential spinoffs.
