WondLa is back with its second installment, and this time Eva is in a new world, New Attica, where she is surrounded by humans and has everything she ever wanted. At least, what she thought she wanted. Eva soon learns that the grass is not always greener on the other side, and that not everyone should be trusted.

WondLa stars Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”) as Eva, Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) as Otto, Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”) as Rovender, Alan Tudyk as Cadmus Pryde. Emmy Award nominee Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”) returns as the voice of Eva’s new caretaker. New cast members include John Harlan Kim (“Cruel Intentions”) as Hailey and Ana Villafañe (“Castro’s Daughter”) as Eva 8.

I talked to WondLa author Tony DiTerlizzi and showrunner Bobs Gannaway introducing humans into Eva’s world and why she was able to adapt to the “aliens” so quickly but not to humans as easily, playing with familiar figures, like Meego and Muthr, in a different way, and 8 being jealous of Eva.

WondLa season 2 premieres on April 25th on Apple TV +.
