WondLa is back with its next installment, and so is our favorite trio, Eva, Rovender, and Otto! But as Eva meets new humans, her bond with Rovender and Otto is challenged. But Eva learns that family comes in many different forms, and species, and maybe what she always wanted has been right in front of her.

WondLa stars Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”) as Eva, Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) as Otto, Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”) as Rovender, Alan Tudyk as Cadmus Pryde. Emmy Award nominee Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”) returns as the voice of Eva’s new caretaker. New cast members include John Harlan Kim (“Cruel Intentions”) as Hailey and Ana Villafañe (“Castro’s Daughter”) as Eva 8.

I talked to Gary Anthony Williams (The Boondocks), who plays Rovender, about how he decided how Rovender’s voice would sound like, how he changed how Rovender sounds like depending on how he is feeling, and what scene he would like to act out in real life.
