[Interview] BMF’s Laila Pruitt & Sydney Mitchell on Nicole’s Pregnancy and LaWanda Becoming the Voice of Reason

On season 4 of BMF, after being the first Flenory to graduate high school and now having a full ride to Morris Brown for college, Nicole finds out she is pregnant. She gets support from LaWanda, who has evolved to be the calm voice of reason and has a healthier relationship with Terry.

I talked to Laila Pruitt, who plays Nicole, about whether she was surprised by Nicole’s pregnancy, what Nicole sees in Worm, and if Breeze is really the father. I talked to Sydney Mitchell, who plays LaWanda, about LaWanda being the voice of reason, LaWanda’s relationship with Terry, and LaWanda’s sometimes controversial hairstyles.
