Outlander: Blood of My Blood, the prequel series to the Outlander series, follows the origin stories of Jamie and Claire ancestors, including how Colum and Dougal MacKenzie came into power, and the role their sister, Ellen, Jamie’s mother, played.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood stars Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Harriet Slater, Jamie Roy, Rory Alexander, Sally Messham, Sam Retford, Sadhbh Malin, Conor MacNeill, and Tony Curran.

The Outlander: Blood of My Blood cast made their debut at San Diego Comic Con at the historic Hall H. You can watch the full panel here.

I asked Rory Alexander, who plays Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, Sam Retford, who plays Dougal MacKenzie, Seamus McLean Ross, who plays Colum MacKenzie, Conor MacNeill, who plays Ned Gowan, and Tony Curran, who plays Simon Fraser if they think Red Jacob MacKenzie didn’t pick a laird as another way to stick it to his sons, or if he had another reason for not making that decision.
