[Interview] Power Book: IV Force Gary Lennon on Tommy Being More Ruthless & Warns of Ill Fated Endings

During the making of season 3 of Power Book IV: Force, the team realized it was a natural end to Tommy’s time in Chicago, and the end of this chapter of Power. However, it wasn’t the end, as they say, Power never ends, and Ghosts never die. This season promises and be explosive and action packed as ever, with every enemy Tommy has made in his short time in Chicago going after him. But Tommy is not one to mess with.

Season Three of “Force” stars Joseph Sikora (“Power,” “Ozark”) as “Tommy Egan,” Isaac Keys (“Get Shorty,” “The Oath”) as “Diamond Sampson,” Kris D. Lofton (“Ballers,” “Snowfall”) as “Jenard Sampson,” Manuel Eduardo Ramirez (“Snowfall,” “Queen of the South”) as “Miguel Garcia,” Carmela Zumbado (“You,” “Chicago PD”) as “Mireya Garcia,” Adrienne Walker (“Law & Order: Organized Crime,” “FBI”) as “Shanti ‘Showstopper’ Page,” Shane Harper (“Hightown,” “The Teacher”) as “Vic Flynn,” Miriam A. Hyman (“The Chi,” “The Laundromat”) as “US Attorney Stacy Marks,” Anthony Fleming III (“Prison Break,” “The Beast”) as “JP” and Lucien Cambric (“Chicago P.D.,” “The Chi”) as “D-Mac.”

I talked to showrunner Gary Lennon about exploring if blood is thicker than water this season when it comes to to the different families on the show, why Tommy is more brutal with his kills this season, and concluding this chapter of Power while setting up this next one.

Power Book IV: Force is now streaming on Starz, with new episodes on Fridays.
