The world of within WondLa has been controlled, and frequently destroyed, but one man, Cadmus Pryde. He ran the pods Eva and others grew up in and New Attica, but all his idea seems to fall apart of leave people deserted, fighting for their lives.
WondLa’s voice casts includes Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”) as Eva, Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) as Otto, Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”) as Rovender, Alan Tudyk (“Resident Alien”) as Cadmus Pryde, John Ratzenberger (“Toy Story”) as Caruncle, John Harlan Kim (“The Librarians”) as Hailey, Ana Villafañe (“Castro’s Daughter”) as Eva 8, Peter Gallagher (“The O.C”) as Antiquus, and many more. New cast members include Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo (“House of Sand and Fog”) as Darius and Arius, and Maz Jobrani (“The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour”) as Zin.
I talked to Alan Tudyk, who voice Cadmus Pryde, about how voice acting became a passion and is now a large part of who he is as a person. I also talked to him about Cadmus evolution (and sometimes devolution) throughout the show, why Cadmus’ ideas fall apart, and what scene he would have loved to out our in real life. He also talked about which other characters he would have loved to voice.
WondLa is now streaming on Apple TV +.
