Having the boys of The Runarounds as your Valentines sound like a dream, but it become a reality for guests at the Royal Oak Music Theatre when the band brought their Minivan Tour to the venue of Valentine’s Day.

The band was created by Outer Banks co-creator Jonas Pate show was looking to make a band to appear on the show. The Runarounds then starred as a fictionalized versions of themselves on the Prime Video series that came out in September of last year, which William joking mentioned during the concert that the show “still holds up.”

Just because they were original created for TV they are real band with real songs and fans. Many of this tour dates are sold out, including this stop.

For an hour and a half they performed all the songs from The Runarounds Soundtrack including my favorite, “Cellophane.” They also performed a cover of “Valerie,” like they did on the show, and “Are You Gonna Be My Girl.” The band also played their first single released separately from the show, “Arrhythmia (I Hope You Stay)”which was amazing.

Staying in the holiday spirit, the band came out in heart shaped glasses, whore heart headbands, and wore Valentine Days colors, making us all feel like “Sophia.”
