In Young Sherlock, Guy Ritchie takes on the early days of the iconic detective, Sherlock is often at odds with his caring older brother, Mycroft, and his confusing frenemy, Princess Gulun.
Young Sherlock stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Max Irons, Natascha McElhone, Joseph Fiennes, and Colin Firth.
I talked to Zine Tseng, who plays Princess Gulun/Shou’an Xiao, about why Gulun is single-minded, and I talked to Max Irons about whether Mycroft would be carefree like Sherlock if the traumatic situation hadn’t happened with his sister. Both of them discussed what they would not leave the house without and what Sherlock is more fragile with life, while their characters aren’t.
Young Sherlock is now streaming on Prime Video on Amazon.
