On Season 2 of High Potential, Ava, Morgan’s daughter, is growing into her own. Although she is still concerned about where her father, Roman, is, she is leaning into her love for art and what she would like to do after high school.

I talked to Amirah J, who plays Ava, about winning the “Breaking Big” award at the SCAD TV Fest, who she think she play Ava’s dad Roman, why Ava when to Daphne for advice and what is was like working with Javicia Leslie, what advice she would give Ava, and what show High Potential should cross-over with.
