Scarpetta is the murder mystery about Dr. Kay Scarpetta, chief medical examiner who eventually marries Benton Wesley, an FBI agent who she works with. One of the issues with the relationship is how Kay expect her husband to share insights on cases that he isn’t allowed to do.

Scarpetta stars Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Amanda Righetti, Jake Cannavale, and Hunter Parrish.

I talked to Hunter Parrish and Simon Baker, who play younger Benton Wesley and present day Benton Wesley, respectively, about how is was helpful to about Benton’s past and future, how younger Benton would feel about Benton and Kay’s present relationship, if its fair for Kay to expect Benton to break the law and give him insight on the case, how if previously acting in the murder-mystery helps them figure out the killer more quickly, and how they got Benton’s southern accent down.
