On the new crime thriller M.I.A. there is new leadership in the drug cartel after the demise of their leader. Elias is questioning the new boss’, Mateo, decisions if the leadership, and wondering if it will destroy the business from within.

I talked to Alberto Guerra, who plays Elias Perez, about how Elias feels about the new structure of the cartel and working with Mateo, what he thinks his dad would think of the changes, and embracing Miami culture.
