Last Seen, the new Apple TV thriller, is about Ian Ridley, an emergency dispatcher whose three year old went missing 11 years ago. When he gets a phone call from a teen who says she thinks she “Mags,” the nickname of the missing daughter, his chase to her leads him to Henry and Jenna Ridley, a couple that has a 14-year-old daughter that they make live an isolated life who is starting to question the family’s lifestyle.

Last Seen stars Patrick Brammall (“Colin from Accounts,” “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Evil”), Maxine Peake (“Say Nothing,” “Black Mirror”), Brendan Cowell (“Dune: Prophecy,” “Plum”), Daniel Henshall (“Mickey 17,” “How to Make Gravy”), Zahra Newman (“Thirteen Lives,” “Addition”), Jessica Wren (“Mr Inbetween,” “Devil’s Playground”), Tobias Muhafidin (“Bali 2002”) and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes.

I talked to Patrick Brammall, who plays Ian Ridley, about if Ian became a dispatcher in hopes to get information on Maggie and ideally what would have happened if they were reunited. I talked to Maxine Peake, who plays Jenna Reid, about how her guilt about how she got Sarah affected how she loved her. Brendan Cowell, who plays Henry Reid, talks about why he was drawn to Maggie and if it wasn’t Maggie if he would have taken another child. All three of them talks about if they make up backstories for the roles that they play.
