Peacock’s new crime drama, The Resort, from the writer of Palm Springs and executive produced by Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail, is centered around Noah (William Jackson Harper) and Emma (Cristin Milioti) a couple celebrating their 10th anniversary at a resort in Puerto Rico. However, after Emma finds a phone from 2007, they’re on the hunt to solve a 15-year-old mystery.

I talked to Nina Bloomgarden (Violet) about shooting a dark mystery in paradise, her character’s relationship with her dad and Sam, and shooting in a timeline set in 2007.

I talked to Gabriela Cartol (Luna) about her first US TV Role, the difference between US and Mexican TV, and playing a character in two timelines.

I talked to The Resort’s creator Andy Siara (Palm Springs) about setting love stories in bizarre situations, the darkness of paradise, and why he set the past in 2007.
