Dear Evan Hansen, the Tony Award-winning musical recently finished its Broadway run, but it’s delighting audiences around the country with its tour. I talked to Alaina Anderson, who plays Zoey Murphy, and Lili Thomas, who plays Cynthia Murphy about protecting their mental health, telling this story with a mixed-race family, and their special bond.
