Quincy has always been different. Although he comes from a famous family, Quincy has always been on his own frequincy (also the name of his music company). He produces, writes, and directs his own music videos, on top of his fledging acting career.

I talked to Quincy about all things music, including why he goes by his real first name, always feeling different, the significance of the color purple, trying to get a word in the dictionary and the true meaning behind his new single “Jetty.”
