In season two, episode seven of Perry Mason, we see Clara going into the field and helping Paul with his investigation. When things go south, Clara has to keep her wits about her in order to get information and get home safely.

I talked to Diarra Kilpatrick, who plays Clara, about Clara investigating, finding out about her and Paul’s origin story, being a Black actor in a period piece &1930s clothing.
