After having its world premiere at SXSW, Rabbit Hole season one is coming to a close. A mix of a thriller and psychological drama, Rabbit Hole is about John Weir, a man with a cognitive dissonance issue that makes it hard for him to discern reality. After the company he started that studied people’s digital activity leads to major consequences for people’s privacy, John is now on the run with his estranged father, a woman he had a one-night stand with, and a man who is supposed to be dead.
I talked to Meta Golding, who plays Hailey, about Hailey not missing her old life, taking more of a leadership role, and her relationship with Weir.
I talked to Rob Yang (Succession) who plays Edward Homm, about Ed being underestimated but being a great agent, shooting slightly different scenes for Weir’s rabbit hole, and if the show has made him more weary about his digital activity.
The season finale of Rabbit Hole premieres Sunday, May 7 on Paramount +.
