Still Up, the new comedy set entirely at night is about friends Lisa, a mother living with her partner, Veggie, and Danny a single guy who’s afraid to leave his house, who spend every night talking on the phone to the wee hours. But are they just friends or is there something more there that will see the light of day?

I talked to executive producers Phil Clarke, Paul Schlesinger, and producer Arabella McGuigan about why people are more vulnerable at night, the difference between British and United States humor, if Danny and Lisa are a good match, and what they do when they can’t fall asleep.
