The Jupiter EP is the most personal project that Forest Claudette has released. This says a lot, since they have always been known for their vulnerability since they released their first EP, The Year of February, in 2022.

Jupiter plays with the theory that Forest came up with; that if men are from Mars and women are from women, where are non-binary people from? And is Jupiter a place you venture to, or is it within? This is explored in this four-song project with its lead single “Kobe Beef,” the powerful “Gold” and the fun songs where Forest plays with their delivery style, “Only Human” and “Big Wigs.”

I had a Forest do a track-by-track breakdown of their EP, Jupiter, sharing our favorite lines, the meaning behind these lines, and how they created a world around this project.
