“Wondla” is about Eva, a 16-year-old who is experiencing the world for the first time after living in a pod with her robot “muthr” her entire life. However, even though she’s been isolated her entire life, she has pretty good social skills and is always up for an adventure.

“WondLa” stars Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”), Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”), Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”), Chiké Okonkwo (“The Birth of a Nation,” “La Brea”), D.C. Douglas (“Sharknado 2: The Second One,” “Black Ops”), and Alan Tudyk (“Resident Alien”).

I talked to showrunner Bobs Gannaway if he rather ride Otto or the goldfish, when Muthr became a mother, Eva’s social skills, and the “Luck” movie easter egg.

Wondla is now streaming on Apple TV +.
