The Braxtons are back! We TV’s first family, the R&B icons and singing sisters of Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar Braxton, and their mother, Evelyn are back. After the tragic loss of their sister, Traci, we see the family try to heal and continue their journey, while still honoring their sister’s life.

I talked to Towanda and Trina Braxton about why the family decided to come back and do the show, what it was like doing grief therapy while being filmed, Towanda embracing her bald head and bringing awareness to alopecia, how they have changed since the show first started, and how the show is an archive of Traci’s life.
