Kevin Smith’s latest movie, “The 4:30 Movie” is a semi-autobiographical movie set in New Jersey in 1986. Movie buff Brian loves going to the movies with his friends, Belly and Burny. But when he finally gets the nerve to ask out his crush, Melody, on a date to the 4:30 movie, everything goes wrong, and he ends up getting banned to the movie theatre.

The movie stars Austin Zajur, Nicholas Cirillo, Reed Northrup, Siena Agudong, Betty Aberlin, Diedrich Bader, Jason Biggs, Rosario Dawson, Rachel Dratch, Ralph Garman, Jason Lee, Logic, Justin Long, Jason Mewes, Kate Micucci, Jenny Mollen, Adam Pally, Sam Richardson, Genesis Rodriguez, Jennifer Schwalbach, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Harley Quinn Smith and Ken Jeong.

I talked to “The 4:30 Movie” stars Austin Zajur, who plays Brian, Nicholas Cirillo, who plays Burny, Reed Northrup, who plays Belly, and Siena Agudong, who plays Melody, about why Burny hates Melody, why it took Brian so long to ask Melody out, if Melody should have Brian should a second chance, their go-to movie snack, their favorite cameo, and if they’re open to being in Clerks 4.

The 4:30 Movie is in theatres on September 13th.
