“The Problem with People,” co-written by Paul Reiser, is about Barry and Ciáran, two cousins who live on opposite sides of the world who have never met. Ciáran fulfills his dying father’s wish of reuniting the family who have been separated for generations and brings Barry to Ireland. However, when Ciáran’s father leaves half of everything to Barry, the cousins start butting heads, causing a stir in this small town.

I talked to Paul Reiser and Colm Meaney about why Paul decided to set the film in Ireland, why their cousins don’t get along, their favorite scene to shoot, and the project they are most surprised that people recognize them.

The Problem with People is in theatres on October 4th.
