“Cross” based on the best-selling book series by James Patterson is about forensic psychologist and detective Alex Cross. While dealing with a tragic loss, he has the help of his best friend and work partner, John Sampson. With their two minds and skills, hopefully, they can hunt down the sickest killer they have encountered.

“Cross” also Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold.

I talked to Isaiah Mustafa, who plays John Sampson, about John’s approach to trying to save Alex from himself, if John was a bad boy in his past, and how the death of Alex’s wife affected his character.
