On the final season of Harlem, the characters are going through a major evolution, especially Quinn and Angie. Quinn is focusing on herself and her career and no longer looking to define herself in a relationship. This leads her to Seth, an MLB player who loves her independence. Newly engaged Angie is constantly told by her fiance Mike that she needs to “compromise” and put her career to the side to focus on their relationship.
Harlem stars Meagan Good, Jerrie Johnson, Grace Byers, Shoniqua Shandai, and Tyler Lepley with recurring cast members Logan Browning, Gail Bean, and Kofi Siriboe.
I talked to Grace Byers, who plays Quinn, and Shoniqua Shandai, who plays Angie, about “Girls Trip: The Musical” and wanting to do it in real life, if Mike is trying to control Angie, Quinn’s evolution, and what she sees in Seth, and their favorite fashion moments throughout the show and their items they bought to keep for themselves.
Harlem is now streaming on Prime Video on Amazon with new episodes on Thursdays.
