Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, the new mystery thriller by TV writer and novelist Anthony Horowitz, is about strangers trying to survive in a Mexican jungle after a plane crash. However, they soon realize that they are being killed off one by one, and that there is a murderer amongst them. Kevin, a former doctor, now medical device salesman, has to use his knowledge to help them survive. Sonja has a secretive past, but still will fight to live.

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue stars Eric McCormack, David Ajala, Lydia Wilson, Peter Gadiot, Siobhán McSweeney, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Adam Long and Jan Le.

I talked to Eric McCormack, who plays Kevin, and Lydia Wilson, who plays Sona, about why Kevin doesn’t trust Zack but Lydia does, which character would they like to be trapped in the jungle with, if they would be a good survivor, and what they hope would be packed in their suitcase.

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue airs Sundays on MGM +.
