O’Dessa, the post-apocolyptic rock-opera that premiered at this year’s SXSW. O’Dessa (Stranger Thing’s Sadie Sink), a girl who travels from her small town to the big city after losing her mother, meets Euri (Mufasa: The Lion King’s”Kelvin Harrison Jr.), a provocative artist who seems super confident but is really under Neon Dion’s control (Regina Hall). O’Dessa is the latest film from Geremy Jasper, who previously directed Patti Cake$.
O’Dessa stars Sadie Sink, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Murray Bartlett, and Regina Hall.
I talked to writer and director Geremy Jasper about his love of fluorescent colors why he used it in the Selena Gomez & The Scene music video he directed, “Love You Like a Love Song” and this movie, why O’Dessa likes Euri, why Euri wears a mask while performing, and if there is anything more hopeless than a hopeless romantic.
O’Dessa is now streaming on Hulu.
You can listen to the O’DESSA (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) here on Amazon Music.
