On season four of BMF, Lucille and Charles are divorced…but still living under the same roof. Although Lucille becomes a preacher at her church and Charles is living his dream as a musician, financially, they are still struggling. Although their marital status has changed, it seems as if they are still having the same arguments and problems.

I talked to Michole Briana White, who plays Lucille, and Russell Hornsby, who plays Charles, about why Lucille takes out her anger on Nicole and Charles but not anyone else, if Charles and Lucille would have gotten married if Lucille hadn’t gotten pregnant with Meech, and how it was like for Russell to direct a second time around.
