I talked to Outlander: Blood of my Blood showrunner and executive produer Matthew. B. Roberts and executive producer Maril Davis about creating the “meet cutes” for Ellen and Brian and Julia and Henry and how Henry and Julia falling in love over letters was inspired by Matthew’s own father’s love.
