I first talked to Bechir Sylvain when he was starring as Glock in Season 3 of BMF. But a few days later, he popped up on another hot show, Diarra From Detroit, and we reconnected again. Always a busy man, it was soon announced that he would be in Jurassic World: Rebirth, which was a blockbuster hit this summer. Soon, he’ll be in Marvel’s Wonder Man for Disney +, in an undisclosed role.

I talked to Bechir Sylvain about his whole experience filming Jurassic World: Rebirth, including the audition process, having his character be Haitian and creating a backstory for him, filming in Thailand, and having his premiere look designed by a Haitian designer. We also talked about whether he might return to BMF and his idea for a BMF spinoff centered on Glock. Plus, we got into Diarra From Detroit season 2, his passion for horseback riding, and his dream projects, including wanting to be in the next season of The White Lotus.
