King Princess may have brought her Girl Violence tour to the Royal Oak Music Theatre, but there was nothing but love for the artist in the crowd during the show.

The night opened with SASAMI. Her signature heavy metal sound was a perfect appetizer for a tour like this. She’s amazing on the guitar, and her passion is magnetic. There was even a mosh pit.

King Princess then came out and had fans in a fever pitch. While she has been exploring different avenues this year, including acting in Nine Perfect Strangers, you can see that the stage is her home. She played a variety of songs from across her catalog, including letting a fan pick a song during the Dice segment (they chose “PAIN”).

King Princess ended the show with some of her classic songs, including her debut single “1950.” It felt like a full-circle moment, but also a milestone in a long career.
