We’re back to revisit the world of Spartacus, but in this universe, Ashur didn’t die and is running his own house of warriors. He catches the eye of widow Viridia, but makes an enemy out of her mother, Cossutia.

I talked to Claudia Black, who plays Cossutia, about why Cossutia doesn’t like Ashur and her desire to have more out of everyone in life. I talked to India Shaw-Smith, who plays Virida, about why Ashur wakes Viridia up from her grief and why Viridia is show excited for the female warrior, Achillia.
