Ponderosa, which premiered at Tribeca, is about Zeke, a young man financially struggling with his single mother, who is a waitress at Ponderosa. He works for real estate agent George, who is obsessed with the mid-20th-century American Dream and becoming Zeke’s father.
Ponderosa stars Jack Dylan Grazer, Alexis Bledel, and Bill Camp.
I talked to Jack Dylan Grazer, who plays Zeke, and writer and director Rob Rice about Zeke and Sandra bond, working with Alexis Bledel, integrating horror, Zeke’s quiet confidence, and if Zeke will eventually talk about his own “good old days” like George.
