
On the season four finale of FROM, Elgin and Marielle didn’t make it through the unexpected mid-day darkness that Sophia created. Elgin died because he didn’t take Sophia’s deal of helping her of being a mole in the town and Marielle died in the hands of Smiley when she protected Fatima.

I talked to Nathan D. Simmons, who plays Elgin, about why Elgin prayed before he died, why he didn’t take Sophia’s deal, and what it was like to have an eye sewed up for an whole season. I asked Kaelen Ohm, who plays Marielle, about why Marielle wanted to kiss Kristi before she passed and if Marielle would have taken Sophia deal. Both of them talked about what the makeup process was like for their character’s death.
