On season 2 of Diarra From Detroit, Danger is not in the city and instead on a farm in Blair, Michigan and attempting to start a new life. However, crime and drama seems to never be too far away from him.

Diarra From Detroit celebrated its new season with an ice cream truck at San Diego Comic Con and creator and star Diarra Kilpatrick speaking on the Malcolm and Friends panel.

The series stars Diarra Kilpatrick, DomiNque Perry, Bryan Terrell Clark and Jon Chaffin with Shannon Wallace, Phylicia Rashad and Harry Lennix returning. The new season also features guest stars Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Morris Chestnut, Glynn Turman, Bokeem Woodbine, Amber Riley, Lil Rel Howery, Lovie Simone, Shoniqua Shandai, Nicco Annan, Skilla Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Chris “CP” Powell, and Jude Demorest.

I talked to Jon Chaffin, who plays Danger, about what it was like playing Danger this season in a new setting, how Danger looks at life on the farm and how he feels about Bailey, how Danger would have felt about seeing Diarra and Chris together and if he would have went along with her on the hunt to find the desk. We also talked about Diarra and Danger “soul connection” and if they if it’s a healthy one and Jon himself playing so many iconic Detroit character, including Big Meech, that he feels like an honorary Detroiter.
