On season 1, episode 6 on S.W.A.T. Exiles, Jude has to return to his undercover life and his past is finally exposed. For two years Jude lived a Bobby has was a part of a hate group, specifically targeting Black people and businesses. This creates animosity in the team, especially between him and Sammy.

I talked to Ronen Rubinstein, who plays Jude, about how he acted different while undercover as Bobby and how Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Departed” was an inspiration, Sammy and Jude’s relationship and how he still had a foot in his undercover life with considering raising a baby with his ex-girlfriend, why Hondo wanted to Jude to leave and why he changed his mind, and if the team would have taken Jude’s undercover job if they were in the same position and if they can forgive him.

S.W.A.T. Exiles airs Fridays on Starz.
