Finally, concerts are back! Although they are a bit different with having to show your vaccination card and bringing your masks, it’s great to see live music again safely.
Rei Ami kicked off the show. While I wasn’t familiar with her before, I loved her spicy energy. She’s unapologetically a baddie and commands respect, which is obvious with her song “DICTATOR.”
Tinashe showed that she’s an artist who considers every aspect of her show. She took it to new heights, literally, by having a set design with different platforms that went up three stories high, meaning there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. She danced and performed on each story, including doing a “Silhouette Challenge” dance to “Cold Sweat.”
While the tour was to support her latest album 333, Tinashe made sure her fans were well fed with songs from a lot of her different projects, including Aquarius, Joyride, and Songs For You. I was happy she performed her break-out hit “2 On.”
While Tinashe brought it with the vocals and dancing, the highlight of the night was when she did the choreography “Bouncin'” with the trampoline, which was incredible.
