HBO Max’s The Staircase is the scripted adaption of the true-crime case that happened in North Carolina in December 2001 of a wife allegedly falling down a flight of stairs to her death. I talked to Cullen Moss (Outer Banks, One Tree Hill) about playing DA Jim Hardin, following the case, working alongside Parker Posey, and people’s obsession with true crime.
