A couple goes on an outdoor adventure in the woods. While this seems like a typical setup for a horror movie, there is nothing typical about Paramount +’s Significant Other.

It’s hard to do a review on this movie without giving away in spoilers; the twist and turns start early. But I will say, Jake Lacy, known for playing bizarre, creepy characters with the shell of a nice guy, is perfectly in his lane. While the movie is relatively short, clocking in at 84 minutes, it’s a nonstop rollercoaster ride.
