The Emmy award-winning series, A Black Lady Sketch Show is back! Featuring returning characters like Dr. Haddassah (Pre-PhD) and a slew of new characters, the groundbreaking series has returning stars Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis, and Sky Townsend, and newcomers DaMya Gurley, Tamara Jade, and Angel Laketa Moore and featured players. Not the mention all the guest starts including Colman Domingo, Kel Mitchell, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

I talked to Robin Thede about the show being a launching pad for black comedians like Quinta Brunson and Yvette Nicole Brown, the Black Lady Court Room phenomenon, who influences her characters like Dr. Haddassah, and Mary J. Blige Brunch.
