“Animal Control,” the workplace comedy where the human co-workers may be just as difficult as the wild animals they are trying to control, just finished its second season. Stars Vella Lovell and Grace Palmer opened up ATX TV Festival Season 13 with a panel sharing behind-the-scene information, including the audition process, what it’s like working with the animal, and how hard it is to not break character and to keep a straight face while shooting the comedy.

I talked to Vella Lovell, who plays Emily, and Grace Palmer, who plays Victoria, about what TV shows made them fall in love with TV, which Sex and The City Character Vella is, who was their first pop culture crush, and what character they would play on “Animal Control.”
