Furious, a new thriller series, is about Alice Black, an FBI agent who is looking for a serial killer. However, she is dealing with her own trauma. She recently ended her relationship with her abusive boyfriend, Marshall, who is the golden boy on the police force. She seeks and a friendship from Nora, an agent who is drinking problem is started to bleed in to the job.

Furious stars Emmy Rossum, Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, and Jake Lacy.

I talked to Jake Lacy, who plays Marshall, about how he adds humanity and connects to characters who have awful personalities, and to Quincy Tyler Bernstine, who plays Nora, about how Nora uses alcohol to cope with her difficult job and how Alice and Nora’s relationship evolves throughout the season.

Furious premieres on Hulu July 27th.
